Chamber choir Cor Cantiamo, conducted by Eric A. Johnson, will perform the U.S. premiere of British composer Gavin Bryars’ Psalm 141, along with four additional SDG Psalms commissions, in a centuries-spanning concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville, Illinois.

Two-hundred and eighty-seven years to the date of the first performance of J. S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion in 1727, the Chicago Bach Project returned to the beginning of its cycle of Bach masterworks on Friday, April 11, 2014, to offer the "Great Passion" to a resoundingly appreciative audience at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park (Chicago) and to a world-wide audience via live streaming on WFMT.com.

The highlight of Soli Deo Gloria's 20th anniversary season is a May 2014 gala in New York City. Special events include the U.S. premiere of SDG's co-commissioned James MacMillan's Since it was the Day of Preparation at St. Barthlomew's Church, and the New York Philharmonic / Westminster Symphonic Choir performance of the SDG-commissioned Requiem by Christopher Rouse at Carnegie Hall.
