Donald D. Holt

Don Holt spent more than 40 years in journalism, mostly in New York. He was a member of the Board of Editors of Fortune magazine and created and edited Fortune's international edition. Prior to that Mr. Holt was managing editor of Newsweek International. During the Economist Group's ownership of New York's Journal of Commerce in the 1990s, he was Editor-in-Chief and Senior Vice President. Mr. Holt is a graduate of Wheaton College. He is the author of The Justice Machine [1972] and recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, the Gavel Award of the American Bar Association, and the Page One Award of the New York Newspaper Guild. In recent years he has been a guest lecturer in journalism at Wheaton College.
